We are pleased to inform you of a remarkable milestone in the history of our great Association, the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN), Lagos State Chapter.
The Lagos Office of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), one of the nation’s foremost news agencies, has officially assigned a reporter, Mrs. Catherine Egwuom, to cover the activities of our Association.
In a letter dated 6th July, 2026 , addressed to the State President and signed by the Managing Editor/Head of Lagos Operations, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Omowole, NAN formally introduced Mrs. Catherine Egwuom as the designated correspondent who will henceforth provide media coverage for the programmes and activities of EHOAN Lagos State Chapter, thereby giving greater visibility to our programmes and projecting our activities to a global audience through their platform.
This development is a clear testament to the growing recognition, relevance, and impact of our Association. It underscores the vital role Environmental Health Officers play in protecting public health, promoting environmental sustainability, and advancing the well-being of our communities.
