The Directorate of Environmental Health Services, Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, has honoured Dr. Cyril Babasope Akinyele with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his outstanding contributions and commitment to Environmental Health practice in Lagos State.
The prestigious award was presented during the Directorate’s retreat held recently, under the leadership of the Director, Sanitarian Olawale Abdullah.
Dr. Akinyele, who is widely known as “Your Servant Leader,” was recognized for his diligence, dedication, and innovative approach to service delivery in the Primary Health Care system.
In his appreciation message, Dr. Akinyele expressed profound gratitude to San. Olawale Abdullah and the entire Directorate for the honour, describing it as a pleasant surprise and a great motivation to do more.
According to him, the award is a testament to the Directorate’s culture of excellence, mentorship and encouragement of Environmental Health professionals under purposeful leadership.
He pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him through improved performance and more committed service to the people of Lagos State.
The Award of Excellence has continued to attract congratulatory messages from colleagues and stakeholders across the Environmental Health profession.
