As part of efforts to promote unity, physical fitness, teamwork, and excellence among members, the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN), Lagos State Chapter, has commenced plans to recruit and scout talented football players from across the Association.
The initiative, championed by the Technical Adviser, San. Kazeem I. O. and approved by the State President, EHOAN, Lagos State Chapter, San. Dr. Akinyele Cyril Babasope, is aimed at assembling a formidable football team capable of representing the Association with distinction in competitions involving Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and other professional bodies.
The proposed recruitment exercise will provide an opportunity for interested officers, irrespective of grade level, to showcase their football skills through an open and transparent scouting process. Players will be assessed based on technical ability, physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and commitment.
The Technical Adviser in his submission emphasized that beyond building a competitive team, the programme is designed to strengthen camaraderie among members, encourage healthy living, and foster leadership and team spirit within the Association.
EHOAN Lagos State Chapter remains committed to the holistic development and welfare of its members and looks forward to unveiling a football team that will proudly represent the Association in sporting engagements.
Signed.
