Lagos, Nigeria – EHOAN Lagos, a prominent environmental organization, extended warm Eid-al-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community, emphasizing the significance of maintaining good sanitation practices during this festive period.
In a statement, State President of EHOAN Lagos, San. Dr. Akinyele, urged Muslims to prioritize sanitation, highlighting its crucial role in preventing the spread of diseases. Dr. Akinyele made this appeal during a broadcast discussing the launch of an environmental sanitation initiative by Lagos State Executive Governor, Mr. Jide Sanwolu.
“The Eid-al-Fitr celebration is a perfect opportunity for us to reflect on our environmental responsibilities. We must ensure our surroundings are clean and hygienic,” Dr. Akinyele said.
He commended Governor Sanwolu’s efforts to improve Lagos State’s environmental sanitation and encouraged residents to support the initiative.
EHOAN Lagos pledged to collaborate with the Muslim community and other stakeholders to promote sanitation awareness and practices across Lagos State.
